This international group exhibition focuses on the diversity of various artistic positions that direct their attention at the silent, hidden, or minimal. It is a conscious strategy not to emphasize a single medium or a common style but to concentrate on small formats. Realized unpretentiously and often with only minimal effort or expense, the models, wall drawings, small sculptures, videos, and photographs as well as minimal spatial alterations in the exhibition coax the visitor into concentrating on details. This toy world is juxtaposed ironically with model-like scenes of often autobiographical content. In most cases they are one-of-a-kind or rare pieces that, by virtue of their size, represent an exception to other works by the participating artists. Humor and irony paired with profound content are a common denominator in all the pieces in this exhibition, thus ultimately they share their stance as well as their size.
